Pleasant views of the village, its church and the grounds of Lacock Abbey are seen from their large Victorian building. Rooms are furnished in a style that befits this historic and fascinating house. Food is freshly prepared with home-made breads and jams. Through the seasons summer fruits, autumn berries, tomatoes and herbs come from their organic garden in the Abbey.

The unique village of Lacock is preserved and owned by the National Trust. Its half-timbered cottages, stone-roofed houses and fine Georgian buildings appear in films such as Pride & Prejudice and more recently Harry Potter!
David and Simone have lovingly restored the house to its original state and, without a doubt, it is one of the finest period buildings in the village. Like the rest of Lacock it is an idyllic reflection of the area's history and offers the perfect rural retreat.
